China Glaze 108 degrees VS OPI I´m all ears

 Direkt när jag fick hem I´m all ears från OPIs Vintage Minnie Mouse collection, tänke jag att hmm... det här har jag ju redan... I form av China Glaze 108 Degrees. Dupe eller inte, det är frågan. I vissa ljus ser man ingen skillnad alls, i andra ljus skiljer sig glass flecksen en aning i blå ton. Men ja, de är väldigt väldigt lika, och en vanlig människa skulle säga att det är samma lack. Dessutom insåg jag när jag fotat klart, att dessa två har en 3:e syster, nämligen Color Clubs Wing fling. Jämförelse mellan CG 108 Degrees och WF kan ni se hos Cactus.

Behöver man alla tre? Absolut inte!! Skulle säga att de är likvärdiga, även kvalitetsmässigt. Alla håller nog inte med mig, men på mina naglar är OPI, CG och CC ofta väldigt lika och lika lättlackade. Skulle jag ändå välja, så väljer jag 108 Degrees eftersom det ingår i den fantastiska Island Escape collection från sommaren 2011.

As soon as I got  I'm all ears from Opis Vintage Minnie Mouse collection, I remember that hmm ... this I already have ... In the shape of China Glaze 108 Degrees. Dupe or not, that is the question. In some lights you can see no difference at all, in other light the glass flecks differ slightly in the blue tone. But yes, they are very very similar, and the average person would say it's the same polish. Furthermore, I realized when I was done with the photos that these two have a 3rd sister! Do you need all three? Absolutely not! Would say that they are equivalent, even qualitatively. Not everyone would agree with me, but on my nails OPI, CG and CC are often very similar and just as easy to use. 
Would I still choose, I choose 108 Degrees because it is part of the fantastic Island Escape collection from summer of 2011.

Holo-fredag! Depend 2032 Denim Blue

Jag väntade i två dagar på solen, sen gav jag upp och fotade under spotlightsen i badrummet. Lacket kommer ju inte riktigt till sin rätt i artificiellt ljus, men jag tycker ändå att bilderna blev rätt bra efter omständigheterna. I vanligt ljus är detta ett alldeles vanligt gråblått lack, regnbågarna är inte så tydliga i ljus heller. Ett mellanlack i Depends holo-kollektion. Eller så är det bara det att jag inte är en riktig holo-nörd. Det är fint, men jag blir inte lika lycklig som av ett perfekt glass fleck-eller foillack.

I waited for two days for the sun, then I gave up and took the pictures  in the bathroom with spotlights. The polish will not look its best in artificial light, but I still think the pictures turned out pretty well during the circumstances. In normal light, this is a very ordinary grayish blue polish, rainbows are not that vivid in the light either. Not a very exciting polish in Depends holo collection. Or is it just that I'm not a real holo-geek. It's nice, but I wont fell in love with a holo the same way I do with the perfect glass fleck or foil polish.

Star Nails nr 08 Green

Jag är alltid mer skeptisk till lack som inte har riktiga namn. Har man inte bemödat sig med att namnge lacken, så ifrågasätter jag även kvaliteten i övrigt. Lite fördomsfullt kanske, men ändå ;-)

Detta lacket (och en hel hög andra från samma märke) har snälla Johanna shoppat till mig på nåt Coop nånstans i Sverige. Kanske att det finns på Coop här i Göteborg också, jag vet inte. Jag är liksom en ICA-tjej. Och när Johanna erbjöd sig, så slapp jag göra en utryckning till kooperativet. 

Lacket i sig, är faktiskt inte så dumt. Ett turkost krämlack som verkligen andas 80-tal. På bilderna har jag tre lager. Lacket är ganska bra i kvaliteten faktiskt. Någorlunda lätt att kontrollera och torkar helt ok, även om jag alltid har Seche vite för säkerhets skull. En positiv överraskning, även om det inte är en favorit på nåt sätt.

I'm always more skeptical of polishes that don´t have real names. If you have not taken the trouble to name the polish, I question the quality in general. A little prejudiced maybe, but still;-)

This polish (and a bunch of others from the same brand) has Johanna bought to me in some Coop store somewhere in Sweden. Maybe Coop here in Gothenburg has it as well, I do not know. I'm like an ICA girl. And when Johanna volunteered, I didn´t have to make a trip to the cooperative.

The polish itself, is actually not that bad. A turquoise creme that really takes me back to the 80's. In the pictures I have three layers. The polish is quite good, actually. Reasonably easy to control and dries ok, although I have always Seche vite for safety. A pleasant surprise, although it is not a favorite of some kind.

IsaDora - Chateau Grey

Då lugnar vi ner oss lite med ett lergrått lack med aningens skimmer i. Det är omöjligt att fånga med kameran. På sista bilden kan man ana det lite grann, men i verkligheten syns det mer, speciellt i solljus. Lacket är köpt på rea för 20:- och är ett riktigt fynd. För det mesta gillar jag ju, som ni vet, lite galna lack. Kanske är det så att ju fler lack man köper, desto högre krav får man, utan att ens tänka på det själv. Lack som man ramlade baklänges av för några år sen, gäspar man åt idag. Lite sorgligt på ett sätt! Så nu ska jag försöka betygsätta lacket med nya ögon. Inte de ögon som sett flera 1000 lack, och själv äger närmare 500. Jag har inte räknat på länge... får nog göra det en dag! Och om jag helt neutalt tittar på detta så blir det faktiskt ett högt betyg, jag gillar lerfärger!

Let´s calm ourselves down a bit with a clay colored polish with some shimmer in. It´s impossible to capture with a camera. In the last picture you can sense it a little bit, but in reality it is more visible, especially in sunlight. The polish is bought on sale for 20SEK - and is a real bargain. For the most part I like crazy polishes as you all know. Perhaps it is that the more polishes you buy, the higher requirements may be, without even thinking about it myself. Colors that totally knocked you out few years ago, makes you totally uninterested today. A bit sad in a way! So now I'll try to rate this with new eyes. Not the eyes which have seen like 1000 or more polishes, and owns nearly 500. I have not counted in a long time ... 'll probably do it one day! And if I try to judge this with "new" eyes it will get good ratings... I like clay/mud/earth colors...

OPI - Just spotted the lizard.

Jag vet. Jag är sist av alla i hela världen att visa detta lack, men det får ni stå ut med. Det är inte så mycket att orda om. Duokromt (eller möjligen multi), dupe till Peridot och ingår i Spiderman collection. Det är dock svårt för mig att vara vara trött på ett så snyggt lack, även om det finns hur många dupes som helst.. Och ryktet säger ju att även ColorClub kommer med ett senare i höst. Om vi bortsett från att alla (utom jag) är totalt fed up på lacket, så är det fint. Lätt att applicera, och torkar supersnabbt. Jag fick även tillfälle att testa hållbarheten, eftersom jag hade det under min och mannens Stockholmstripp, under tre dagar. Denna sommaren har verkligen inneburit påfrestningar av sällan skådat slag när det gäller nagelunderhåll ;-)

I know. I am the last of all in the whole world to blog about this polish, but you'll have to put up with it. It´s not so much to talk about. Duo chromatic (or possibly multiple), dupe to Peridot and included in Spiderman collection. However, it is difficult for me to be tired of such a beautiful polish, even if there are how many dupes at any time .. And a rumor tells that Color Club will do one aswell, later this fall. If we pretend that not everyone (except me) are totally fed up of this polish, it´s really pretty. Easy to apply, and dries super fast. I also had the opportunity to test the durability, since I had it during our (me and my husbands)  trip to Stockholm, for three days. This summer has really tested me, when it comes to nail maintenance
